Christmas.jpg

This past holiday season, Broadway Stages and the 94th Precinct Community Council celebrated Christmas with children and families from North Brooklyn at the Broadway Stages Meserole Avenue soundstage. The successful holiday event was complete with a Christmas-themed party, a complimentary buffet, and a personal visit from Santa Claus.

Children were eager to open the beautifully wrapped gifts donated by Broadway Stages President Gina Argento and founder Tony Argento. Tony, on behalf of Broadway Stages, said, "This is one positive thing for the community." As a mother of three sons, Gina could not have been more excited to provide toys for Brooklyn children and a day of fun for families to experience together. Gina, Tony, and the Broadway Stages family are always excited to spread the holiday cheer and give back to Brooklyn. Thank you to the 94th Precinct Community Council for giving us this opportunity to bring cheer to Brooklyn children and families.

Broadway Stages is a longtime supporter of Camp Brooklyn Fund, an organization that gives children from low-income Brooklyn families the chance to escape the urban landscape for a few weeks by attending sleep-away camp.

With the support of sponsors including Broadway Stages, Camp Brooklyn raised enough money to send more than 80 kids to accredited camps this summer for an experience they'll never forget.
